I love writing. The act of writing and the thing itself and for mainly just one reason: the very best writers are able to say the unsaid, feel the subconscious. There’s just something so magnificent and exciting that.

Isn’t it weird how there are literally billions of people in the world but everyone seems to always feel so lonely…

Oh no this question. I love so many things, this is so hard. As of right now, I would like to either study physics, mainly astrophysics and astronomy, or maybe neuroscience, primarily the psychology branch of that field. I don’t know I really love space and people and the mind and how we think but I’m also obsessed with aliens and the future. I’ve also considered going into renewable/eco-friendly energy engineering. I still have a year to figure out what I want to do, so I’m just trying out different things to see what I like. 

I made one of these last year and I figured I’d make one for this year too. It’s really a great way to recap the year and remember some of the things worth remembering that you might have thought you’d forgotten.

• Went to New York

Saw the Statue of Liberty
Walked through Times Square
Shopped in the Forever 21 in Times Square
Saw a boradway play (Phantom of the Opera)
Saw Circe de Sol

• My dad got remarried

I got a stepmom, Stacia
I got two new step sisters, Mallie and Lily

• Got my first job at Stacia’s dance studio as a receptionist ($10/hr)
• I had my article published in the city’s newspaper
• We adopted a dog, Slim, and he is the love of my life
• I quit playing tennis
• I ran my first 5K
• I lost 15 lbs and started to really appriciate my body
• I started weightlifting
• I ran a successful fitness blog (1.5K+ followers, hell yeah muthaaa)
• I got a 5 on my AP World History Test
• I made a 177 on my PSAT
• Went through some scary stuff with friends that we’re still going through
• I got accepted into the Aerospace Scholars program
• Wrote my first real resume
• Got my driver’s lisense
• I turned sixteen
• Actually drank alcohol for the first time (got buzzed lol)
• I went to a One Direction concert
• I spent 300 dollars on a One Direction concert ticket for summer2013
• I went to state for BPA
• I was denied membership in BPA (for my junior year) because I wasn’t taking a technology class (FUCK YOU)
• I had my phone stolen
• I watched the Summer Olympics and fell in love with the Fab 5, Ryan Lochte, Nick McCroy, and David Boudia
• I was a raccoon for Halloween
• I graduated sophomore year on the A Honor role
• I survived the APOCOLYPSE!
• I joined Student Council
• I moved my rank up to number 13 in my class!
• I went to my first Pro-Baseball game (Go Rangers)
• I went camping

I fed a deer
Went tubing down a river for the first time

• I developed an obsession for: Jack and Finn Harries, Tyler Oakley, Ray Bradbury, Dylan O’Brian, Colton Haynes, Bradley James, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Louis, Harry, and Liam (interchangeably).
• I developed a more keen interest in: physics, math, astronomy, astrology/zodiacs, health/fitness, neuroscience/physcology, and Europe.
• I began to learn French
• I lost a friend then eventually got her back
• I made some cool new friends
• I shipped the following ships obsessively: Percabeth, James/Lily, Liam/Danielle, Cato/Clove, Peeta/Katniss Jenna/Max
• Joined Instagram.
• Went to a funeral for the first time (that I remember)
• Saw a dead body for the first time.
• Attended the Hunger Games Midnight premiere in a huge theatre in Dallas

do you have like these imaginary scenes in your head of you in situations that would never actually happen and whenever you’re bored or spacing out or just walking around you kind of just go back to them and imagine them over and over

Woe is me that my all time favorite characters in Harry Potter are James Potter, Lily, Sirius and Remus because they all die but their stories are so beautiful and sometimes I just get hit with the realization that not a single marauder lived and oh god, to this day I still cry over their deaths. Each of theirs, even Peter’s.
